Statement:
“Making our community safer, our air cleaner and our
citizens healthier by promoting bicycling as a safe and normal
means of everyday transportation”
About Us:
We are a locally organized group committed to having fun,
promoting and advocating cycling not only as recreation, but
also as a means of regular transportation. We look to make
our streets safer, enable local bicycle riders to ride knowledgeably
and create a community for all the local bicyclists. We also
look to serve the community through interaction with the local
government, promoting the continued development of Merced
as a bicycle friendly community.
Weekly Rides:
We currently have 3 rides each week.
- Family Friendly group rides:
- Meet at Bob Hart Square downtown on Wednesday evening
at 5:30pm
- Meet at N. and 19th at the organic farmers market Saturday
morning at 9:00am during the summers, 10:00 the rest of
the yea
Road/Touring rides:
- Sunday mornings: time and routes vary so the website
is the best resource to determine what is coming up.
