Camp with Coach Smith
The City of Merced’s, Parks and Community Services
will be having a Girls Basketball Camp June 22-26 from 8:30
am – 12 pm at Golden Valley High School. The camp is
open to girls in 1st-11th grades. The cost of the camp is

The Castle Bombers Roller Girls are Merced County’s
first and only original, all girls, quad skatin’ flat
track derby team. Roller Derby is our game, Castle Bombers
is our name! We are women, hear us roar, we skate have fun
and so much more!
We are an all volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to
bringing the absolutely fabulous entertainment and sport of
women’s flat track roller derby to you and other great
people of Merced County (soon to be fans). We adhere to following
the rules and regulations of the Women’s Flat Track
Derby Association’s (WFTDA) guidelines and motto “By
the Skaters, for the skaters.”
Founded in October 2008, by Leah Bowman (a.k.a Sgt. BombHer),
the Castle Bombers Roller Girls is a team made up of eleven
(11) women throughout Merced County ranging in age from early
20’s-50.

Indoor Youth Soccer Program
The City of Merced’s Parks and Community Services
along with Merced Indoor Sports Center will be offering
an Indoor Youth Soccer Program beginning January 31. The
program is for boys and girls ages 3-14. The cost is $35
for 8 weeks plus uniform fees for ages 3-10 and $45 plus
uniform fee for ages 11-14. Registration deadline is January
21. For more information please contact Parks and Community

BMX Ride Nights
Atwater Police Activities League (PAL) will start their
Free BMX Nights starting this Monday, April 5, 2010 from
5:30pm until 7:30pm. After this day the Free BMX nights
will be the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month through October.
Ages are boys and girls 5 years old to 17 years old. Sign
ups are on the night of the activity. Parents must be available
to sign a waiver. Helmets and BMX bicycles are available
free to use. Long sleeve shirts and long pants must be worn.

TAKE IT OFF WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM
We are very excited to present the
Take It Off weight loss program at the Millennium SportsClub.
This 90 day program will enable us to serve our members
